Ashley Mendelsohn
Chief Compliance Officer
Ashley Mendelsohn serves as Chief Compliance Officer of Element Pointe Family Office. In this role, she oversees the firm’s regulatory compliance program, monitors regulatory changes, and provides guidance to senior management on compliance matters.
Prior to joining Element Pointe, Ashley was a Senior Principal Consultant with the U.S. Regulatory division of ACA Global. Before joining ACA, she was a Principal and the Chief Compliance Officer of Vulcan Value Partners, where she led the firm’s compliance and risk management programs. Prior to Vulcan Value Partners, she was a Senior Vice President at Regions Bank, where she served as Chief Compliance Officer of Regions Investment Management and led the risk management program for Regions Asset Management division, which serviced the bank’s Institutional and Private Wealth divisions. Before her time at Regions, Ashley was Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Fund Operations of Cook & Bynum Capital Management, where she also served as the Chief Compliance Officer of the firm’s mutual fund. She began her career as an investment banking analyst in the Corporate Finance Department of The Robinson-Humphrey Company.
Ashley received a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Alabama, where she was selected to be a member of the Blackburn Institute. She holds the Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) and Certified Securities Compliance Professional (CSCP) designations.
